overview.
The Yule Log, a festive TV program from the US, traditionally airs on Christmas Eve or Morning. Starting in 1966 and initially running until 1989 on WPIX in New York, the show made a comeback in 2001. It features continuous footage of a yule log in a fireplace, accompanied by Christmas tunes, lasting 2-4 hours without commercials. The soundtrack was once also simulcast on radio via WPIX-FM until 1988.
ROle.
As the UI Designer, my responsibility involved crafting the visual elements of a project aimed at modernizing the traditional Yule Log. The concept was straightforward: to adapt this classic to today's digital landscape by encouraging developers to design their unique takes on the Yule Log using their choice of technology. This initiative was about blending the timeless appeal of this holiday tradition with contemporary digital innovation.
